What people say after a session

SF

Suraya Fadzil

Kota Kinabalu · Drop-In

"I went in not really sure what to expect — I'd never done anything like this before. The room was quiet and the pace felt very unhurried. Hamidah explained what we were doing before we tried it, which helped me feel less lost. Came away with an audio guide I've used twice since. A good first step."

Rajan Tan

Kota Kinabalu · Coaching Block

"I'd tried to build a breathing routine on my own using apps but always stopped after a week. Working with Lapang over six sessions made a difference — having someone check in and actually adjust things to fit my mornings meant I kept going. The routine I ended up with is 12 minutes and I've been doing it for two months now."

Nurul Mahmud

Tuaran · Membership

"I joined the membership last year because I needed something consistent in my schedule — not another app, but an actual place to go. The seasonal themes have been a nice touch. The Q3 focus on integrating breathing into daily movement was genuinely useful for me. I've renewed for another year."

Lim Kai Wen

Kota Kinabalu · Drop-In

"Very calm, very low-key. I appreciated that nothing was oversold. It's literally just breathing exercises in a small group, and that's exactly what I needed. The space on Jalan Gaya is easy to find and quiet inside. I'll go back."

Aziah Hamdan

Putatan · Coaching Block

"The coaching block worked for me because we spread the sessions out over about eight weeks, which meant I had time to actually try things between meetings. Ravi was patient and practical — not preachy. The written summary at the end was a thoughtful touch. I still refer to it."

Jessica Ong

Kota Kinabalu · Membership

"I've been attending group sessions for about eight months and there's something really steadying about turning up to the same place twice a month. It's become a reference point in my week. The recorded library has been useful too — especially during weeks where I couldn't make it to a session."

Rajan — building a daily routine after years of trying

Coaching Block · 8 weeks

The situation

Rajan worked long hours in Kota Kinabalu's commercial district and had tried a number of breathing apps over the years without being able to stick to anything. The main issue wasn't motivation — it was that the routines never quite fit his unpredictable mornings.

What happened

Over six coaching sessions with Hamidah, Rajan's routine was adjusted around what his actual mornings looked like — not an idealised version. They moved away from longer practices toward something that could fit into 12 minutes before leaving for work.

Two months later

Rajan has maintained his morning practice for over two months, which is longer than any previous attempt. He described the change as small but consistent — and noted that he notices when he misses a day, which is new.

"I wasn't expecting a huge shift. I just wanted something I could actually keep doing. That's what I got."

Nurul — finding a consistent weekly anchor

Year of Calm Membership · 14 months

The situation

Nurul, who travels between Tuaran and Kota Kinabalu for work, wanted something in her schedule that didn't require much planning — just a regular place to slow down. She'd found group fitness settings too energetic for what she was looking for.

What happened

She joined the membership and began attending group sessions twice a month. The recorded library gave her something to use during weeks when she couldn't make the drive. The seasonal theme structure meant the content shifted gradually rather than feeling repetitive.

Over 14 months

Nurul renewed her membership at the year's end. She described the group sessions as having become a known point in her month — something she plans around rather than fitting in around everything else.

"I've renewed for another year. That's probably the clearest answer I can give about whether it was worth it."
